First came CAR, then came "inactive" SKU's, then came "out of season" SKU's, then came "host" SKU's, then "active, but not available until 2009 due to short supply" SKU's.....and now the brain surgeons have decided to limit each store to just $5000.00 a week for MST orders...for the whole store! Electrical and Hardware will gobble that up in minutes. We're the busiest store in the district...this is going to kill us. I understand reducing inventory, but this is absurd. _________________ "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes." -Oscar Wilde |

When did that happen? I am in Market 63 and I have not heard that. I will ask about it when I go back to work tomorrow. _________________ "By our efforts, we have lit ... a fire in the minds of men. The insanity of this system just gets worse and worse. It's qaudrupled my workload what with counting and recounting items, many with astronomical theft levels, (i.e. anything made of copper or brass and brick and block...) Calling Atlanta daily to reset CAR parameters because I can't have zero on hand, nor 1 on hand...to get it off that damned list (cuz then CAR wont send me anything), nor empty holes, nor can I just place a simple order to fill the shelves (God forbid!) No, it's request, request, request and denied, denied, and here's a transfer of one Toro mower in a box that looks like it's been through a tornado. _________________ "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes." -Oscar Wilde |
